Why Chronica exists

Chronica is an evidence management system built for the quiet, messy work of documenting coercive control. This journal exists so survivors, investigators, and advocates can trace who said what, when the details shift, and why the systems meant to protect them failed to see the pattern.

Mission

Document the evidence before it disappears. The journal surfaces transcripts, emails, and field notes within a narrative that makes the abuse pattern legible, not sensational, and always anchored to real records.

Why it matters

Many systems reward “no drama” narratives. Chronica refuses to let the quiet moments slip unseen by giving them a serious, restrained home where they can be shared without glamour or derision.
